Interested in developing your photography, learning what all those functions mean and how to make the best from your camera, then a workshop might be for you. I currently run one day workshops and a further development course in Beginners Photography at Quirky Workshops, Greystoke or vouchers for one to one tuition are available on request.

Workshops:
Camera basics
Session 1: Basic Camera functions including: aperture, shutter speed, ISO, AV, TV and manual modes which to choose and why
Session 2: Creative Compositional techniques, Compositional rules and how to break them ;)
Session 3: Controlling natural and artificial lighting, Editing skills, Exposure compensation, meter reading and visual language of light
Creative editing
Session 1: Uploading & Organising images, Lightroom techniques.
Session 2: Basic Photoshop/lightroom skills, Crop, Burn, Dodge, Layers, Colour Balance, levels
Session 3: Intermediate editing, curves, split toning and colour theory
photobook making
Session 1: Mini Zine making, Single stitch & Concertina Books
Session 2: Ordering and sequencing, visual story telling, Using InDesign to put together a PDF book for printing
